In The Workshop - Past, present and future

Well its been a busy couple months, transitioning from a side hustle to a full time business. With that I'm launching this... a monthly update, you'll get to see inside the business, what we've been up to and what we've got going on into the future.

So without further ado, what have we been up to?

The past few months I've been donating my time to help build a frame for the local boxing club, to hold the heavy bags, there's still a few more bits and bobs to finish off but its currently in use and they're very happy to have this equipment up. Its been a real pleasure helping these guys out, clubs like this are very important to our community, boxing is a great sport for both fitness and mental health, after doing a lesson I definitely need to work on my own fitness!

In between, going out on mobile jobs, I've been making progress on the VW T25 I'm restoring for a customer. With the roof and drip rails repairs, I moved onto the window frames and A-pillar. more recently I done and investigation on the panels around the right hand arch, b pillar, right hand sill and rear arch only to find that it was pretty much all filler and rust. So after speaking to the customer we decided to go ahead and repair all these. and I'm slowly making progress on those areas getting these things right is very time consuming but ultimately worth in the end... and that's where we are so far, next update towards the end of august.
